I’ve been teaching since 2003, which means I bring over two decades of professional coaching experience to Alfie’s Driving School.

My Standout Moment
One of my absolute favorite memories was teaching a pupil who had a profound fear of driving after being involved in a bad collision as a passenger years prior. When they first sat in the cockpit, even starting the engine brought on intense anxiety.
By taking things one step at a time, focusing heavily on smooth vehicle control, and celebrating the small wins every week, we built their confidence from the ground up.
The day they passed their test first time with just two minor faults was an incredibly emotional and rewarding milestone for both of us.
Why do I love what I do?
Helping people gain the essential life skill of driving is something I’m truly passionate about. Sit back, relax, breathe. See that my pedals will override yours. You cannot do anything wrong that I do not allow to happen, so don’t worry yourself, try to enjoy and you will learn!

You only fail if you give up. No matter what happens during your test, keep going and stay focused. Even if you think you’ve made a mistake, it might not be as bad as you believe – don’t let it throw you off.
